Occasionally, I like to use my blog for fun, miscellaneous purposes. I was sharing some recipes with a friend tonight and thought this one would be good to share with all of you. I developed it using the trial and error method. If you make it, let me know what you think!
AJP’s The Sweet, Spicy, and Smoky Salsa
2 – 10 oz cans of Original Rotel, Original
1 – 6 oz can of tomato paste
1 onion (chopped)
2 tsp parsley flakes
1 fresh garlic (chopped)
2 tsp salt
1 tbsp black pepper
1 tsp +10 shakes garlic powder
1/8 cup + 2 tsp red wine ving.
1 tbsp lemon juice
1/2 tsp cumin
1 tsp +2 shakes of oregano
2 1/2-3 tbsp sugar
1 cup fresh cilantro (not smashed down)
1/8 tsp cilantro flakes +5-6 shakes
1 tsp olive oil
4 shakes of Natural Seasoning
Mix and Blend in a Blender. Heat on stove for 15 min or until it is warm.
Makes about 1 quart. Place in refrigerator
